Infrastructure Manager

Based at:            Stockton-On-Tees, Head Office (Hybrid working with flexibility to be expected)

Hours:                  35 hours per week

Reporting to:     Head of Technology

Salary Range:    £50K – £60K depending on experience 

An exciting new opportunity has opened for a talented individual who is seeking a new challenge. As the leader of a team of system engineers, you will play a pivotal role in delivering operational support to our internal departments. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Vianet’s US infrastructure team to effectively implement and oversee the management of secure and highly scalable cloud solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure. This dynamic role encompasses strategic design, hands-on implementation, and the ongoing maintenance of our organisation’s infrastructure requirements.

There are some essential experience and leadership skills you will need to have:

• Proven experience in managing internal helpdesk and cloud environments.
• Prior experience creating SLA reports for both management and external customers.
• 5+ years of operational and managerial experience in IT client/end-user support and in IT Infrastructure.
• 10+ years of experience working with both Linux and Windows environments.
• 2+ years of experience working in multi-region Azure environments.
• Experience working with Jira and/or other project tracking software.
• Experience implementing and managing AKS clusters.
• Experience managing both MSSQL and MySQL databases.
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to define, implement and enforce processes to ensure business continuity.
• Excellent client facing/stakeholder management experience.
• Knowledge of standard design methodologies such as TOGAF.
• Experience Managing budgets.
