Vianet is thrilled to introduce an exciting opportunity within our Commercial team—the role of Client Director. This position is pivotal in our expansion into new industry sectors. The key objective is to shape the strategy of the Client Relationship Manager Team, aligning it with the Business Development strategy, and taking the lead on all associated activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and the development of client-level strategies. The role involves providing support to Client Relationship Managers in implementing, developing, and executing customer retention strategies, optimising SmartVend, and contributing to business development opportunities through engagement with senior stakeholders. The primary focus is on achieving and surpassing individual sales targets for the SmartVend vending management platform, contactless, and telemetry units among existing clients across various sectors in Vending & Foodservice.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding for the client business model to build innovative solutions and account plans whilst applying a holistic perspective to better position partner growth at all levels.
  • Drive excellence in operational delivery across the Client Relationship Manager Team by demonstrating capable leadership in order to foster an innovative, collaborative and high performing environment to deliver Vianet’s strategic growth objectives.
  • Create connections and build relationships to leverage and influence internal and external networks to generate ideas, find solutions, and achieve strategic common goals.
  • Responsible for account retention, maintaining a deep understanding of the portfolio and individual account health to build customer retention strategies.
  • To act as an ambassador for the first end-to-end data insight platform, SmartVend.

 

There are some essential skills and experience you will need to have:

  • An excellent relationship manager who has the gravitas and knowledge to build senior relationships. Demonstrates the strengths to earn respect quickly. A natural ability to build rapport with clients to identify viable opportunities for growth. Highly collaborative both with clients and stakeholders across Vianet.
  • Passionate about growing and developing the Client Relationship Manager Team. Demonstrates inspirational leadership, motivation, mentorship and management. Confident in setting department strategies and direction to create a team of highly motivated individuals.
  • Commercially aware, results orientated, able to negotiate internally and externally, and thrives working to key business development metrics.
  • Has a good working knowledge of the vending and Foodservice industry and the core and emerging technology propositions.
  • A confident and competent presenter, able to promote Vianet with credibility and passion.
  • Strong project management skills with a constant drive to improve efficiencies and effectiveness in ways of working
